  1. dVideo Driver
  2.  
  3. This option allows you to select a video driver/display mode.
  4. If you are unsure of which display modes your computer supports,
  5. select <Autodetect> and a list of detected drivers/display modes
  6. will be displayed. Selecting higher resolution display modes, such
  7. as 1024x768x256 colors, will give you greater detail but less
  8. speed. Selecting lower resolution display modes, such as
  9. 640x480x256 colors, will give you less detail but greater speed.

  11. eVideo Driver Autodetect
  12.  
  13. Please select a video driver from one of those auto-detected.
  14. Selecting higher resolution display modes, such as 1024x768x256
  15. colors, will give you greater detail but less speed. Selecting
  16. lower resolution display modes, such as 640x480x256 colors,
  17. will give you less detail but greater speed.

  19. nSound Driver
  20.  
  21. This option allows you to select a sound driver. If you are
  22. unsure of which driver to select, select <Autodetect> and a
  23. list of drivers detected will be displayed.

  25. oSound Driver Autodetect

  27. Please select a sound driver from one of those auto-detected.

  29. pPort Address         
  30.  
  31. This option allows you to specify which base I/O address your
  32. sound card is configured to operate on. After selecting a sound
  33. driver, this setting is auto detected on most sound cards.
  34.  
  35. qIRQ Number 
  36.  
  37. This option allows you to specify which IRQ number your sound
  38. card is configured to operate on. After selecting a sound driver,
  39. this setting is auto detected on most sound cards.
  40.  
  41. rDMA Channel
  42.  
  43. This option allows you to specify which DMA channel your sound
  44. card is configured to operate on. After selecting a sound driver,
  45. this setting is auto detected on most sound cards.
  46.  
  47. sMonitor Rate
  48.  
  49. This option allows you to specify the sampling rate used to
  50. monitor audio. Monitoring audio is required to generate the
  51. spectrum/wave/peak analyzer displays.
  52.  
  53. xMouse Driver
  54.  
  55. This option allows you to select a mouse driver. If you are
  56. unsure of which driver to select, select <Autodetect> and a
  57. list of drivers detected will be displayed.

  59. yMouse Driver Autodetect

  61. Please select a mouse driver from one of those auto-detected.

  63. zMouse Speed
  64.  
  65. This option allows you to select the speed in which the cursor
  66. responds to mouse movement. You may select either slow, medium,
  67. or fast.

  69. {Mouse Cursor
  70.  
  71. This option allows you to select the cursor you wish to use.  
  72. Please select one from the menu of available cursors.

  74. îSample Directory
  75.  
  76. This option allows you to specify the default directory for
  77. samples. (*.WAV)

  79. ûModule Directory
  80.  
  81. This option allows you to specify the default directory for
  82. modules. (*.MOD)

  84. éWiring
  85.  
  86. This option allows you to select a wiring setup. The wiring
  87. setup indicates how things are wired. Among other things, it
  88. indicates which devices are being used and the order in which
  89. to initially display them. You can create new wiring setups
  90. and edit existing ones by using the WIRING program.

  94. The sound driver you have selected does not include support for
  95. recording. Therefore, the Peak, Spectrum, and Time analyzers will
  96. only respond when digital audio is being played (eg. playing a
  97. sample or module).

  101. The sound driver you have selected does not include support for
  102. stereo recording. Therefore, the Peak, Spectrum, and Time analyzer
  103. displays will only reflect mono audio.

  105. ╢CD-ROM Drive

  107. This option allows you to specify whether or not a CD-ROM drive
  108. is present. To use the Compact Disc device, you must specify
  109. "Yes" and the MSCDEX driver must be loaded. Consult your CD-ROM
  110. drive manual for more information about installing MSCDEX.
